Out of 61 films he acted after 2000 43 are utter flops. And very few are hits or super hits, others are just average. He has won 41 awards including State, Kerala film critics, Filmfare, Asianet, Jai Hind, Mathrubhumi, Amrita TV and vannitha in these years.
Mammooty (Malayalam)
Out of 63 he acted after 2000 25 are flops. Comparing to Mohanlal i think Mammooty is better winning 22 awards including State, Kerala film critics, Filmfare, Asianet and vannitha film awards in these years.
Amir Khan (Bollywood)
Total of nine films after 2000, 8 were super duper hit and the other one Mangal Pandey which won many hearts, but failed to deliver in Box office.
Sharukh Khan (Bollywood)
Total of 37 films, in which 13 where flops. Out of 13, he was just a guest appearence in 10 of the occasions. So only we can take it as 27 films 3 flops.
Puneet Rajkumar (Kannada)
This will amaze you. 16 films, no flops, all 16 are super hits. Won best actor filmfare and State awards. Probably the only actor in India without any flops in his name.
Kamal Hassan (Tamil)
13 films, 5 flops. Great actor but he should stop attempting films like Manmadha ampu, pachathanthram, pammal k sambandham, mumbai express. Four of his five flops came when he attempted comedy.
RajiniKanth (Tamil)
Just 5 films after 2000, four of them where super duper hits. Just for reference: His Badsha(1994) broke all box office records at that time, this was over taken by his next film Muthu (1995), this record was broken by Padayyappa(1999) this was broken by his next flick Chandramukhi (2005). After two years he came with Shivaji (2007) which again broke all the collection records. Last year he again broke all records through Enthiran(2010). Waiting for Rana (may be in 2012) which will sure break all the records.
Surely my vote goes to Super Star Rajinikanth. No one deserve to be called with that name more than him. He is the most unique star in the whole world.
